3 Australian environmental activists are believed to have boarded the Japanese whalers' security ship, Shonan Maru No. 2, in a daring move throw it off the tail of the Sea Shepherd ship, Steve Irwin.The Forest Rescue said the three men were now being held as prisoners in Australian territorial waters by an invading Japanese vessel containing armed Japanese military personnel.

the volunteers are fully aware of the dangers they face. they are chosen specifically because they are willing to risk their life for? a whale. they have every right to make that decision, and no one can blame SSCS because it is possible that they may face a life threatening situation, because they have allowed themselves to be placed at risk at will.

Aside from "luring" the Shonan Maru No.2 away from the Sea Sheperd. It looks? as if their goading the Japanese into crashing them into the sea. Personally I think the 3 activists were Insane for using such a daring move. In-fact, stupider then the people who try to conceal drugs whilst overseas in a country that SERIOUSLY condones drug trafficking getting themselves years of jail-time. As an Australian, I ask our Japanese friends to place pressure on their government to stop the draconian practice of whaling.? The action these men are taking is not anti-Japanese, it is anti-whaling. The Japanese government is acting unethically by sending your ships to Western Australian waters or anywhere else.
